Stone planters are durable and long-lasting and are indispensable products for landscaping. So how much do you know about the processing of gardening stone planters? Let me take you to understand.

1、Polishing: high gloss surface
Polishing may or may not last a long time, mainly depending on the type of stone. Granite, marble, and limestone are usually polished and require different maintenance to keep their luster.

2、Flamed: rough surface
This surface is mainly used for indoor use such as flooring or for commercial building finishes, with high labor costs. The flamed surface is formed by rapid cooling after high-temperature heating. The flamed surface is generally granite.

3, acid washing: stone flower pot surface with small corrosion marks
Acid wash surfaces scratch less, the appearance is more rustic than the polished surfaces. Most of the stones can be acid washed, but the most common are marble and limestone. Acid washing is also a way to soften the luster of granite.

4、Polished
The polished surface looks very “soft”, with obvious scratches, without much care. Marble, limestone, and slate are suitable for polishing treatment.

5, chopping ax: the surface is not smooth
After the initial cutting, the stone is further processed to eliminate the obvious saw marks, but the effect does not reach the effect after polishing. Granite, marble, and limestone can be treated in this way, usually in the case of customization.

6, cracking: stone planter surface rough, but not as rough as flamed
This surface treatment is usually cut by hand or burnt in the mine to reveal the natural cracked surface of the stone. This surface treatment is mainly used for slate.

7、Tumbling: smooth or slightly rough surface, smooth and broken edges
There are several ways to achieve the tumbling effect. 20 mm bricks can be tumbled in the machine, and 3 cm bricks can be tumbled and treated and then split into two bricks. Marble and limestone are the preferred materials for tumbling treatment.

8、Brushing: surface antiquing. The treatment process is brushing the surface of the stone to imitate the natural wear effect of the stone.
